As a multi-skilled professional Emily has a varied portfolio spanning gilding, specialist painting and decorative surfaces. With fifteen years of industry experience, she has worked with some of London’s most respected decorative art studios and successfully completed high-profile projects for private residences, hotels, and superyachts around the globe.
Emily's foundation in the arts stems from her training in technical theatre, where she focused on scenic arts and prop creation. She began her career in the art department for film and television before transitioning to a role as a gilder and paint finisher at DKT Artworks. She continues to collaborate with specialist decoration companies as well as running her own projects, and has established a network of highly skilled freelancers to work alongside.
Emily offers a comprehensive range of painted and gilded finishes for luxury and heritage installations, collaborating with architects, designers, project managers and clients directly to create both classic and contemporary designs. Her bespoke glass gilded artworks are tailored to specific client briefs and can include verre églomisé, antique mirror finishes, and innovative experimental techniques.
Based in London, Emily has completed work internationally, with noteable projects in Europe and the Caribbean.
